Dr Charlotte is a communication specialist, presently employed as a lecturer in the Department of Journalism and Communication at Makerere University. She has 25 years’ experience in media and communication practice and education, including roles in journalism, public relations and as a university lecturer. She has previously served GOGA in different capacities, notably as a fundraiser for Class of 1988 for the refurbishment of the Kivebulaya bathrooms, and as Public Secretary on the GOGA Executive, 2020-2022. Charlotte is  committed to participating in ensuring that Gayaza retains her place at the top in girls’ education in Africa.

Charlotte  attended Gayaza Junior School from 1981  to 1987 and Gayaza High School from 1988 to 1994.  She lived in Kivebulaya and Ham and Apollo House.
