Today, 11th February 2025, the Gayaza High School Board of Governors officially received the new Warren House dormitory from the contractors, marking the completion of a remarkable project within just one year.
This milestone is a testament to the enduring legacy of Miss Sheila Warren, the former headmistress of Gayaza High School, who passed away in 2022. In her Will, Miss Warren generously bequeathed £80,000 to the school—a gesture of love and dedication to the institution she held dear.
A portion of these funds, supplemented by school fees, was used to bring this dream to life. Warren House now stands as a symbol of progress, community, and prudent financial stewardship. It is heartening to see such resources being directed toward meaningful, impactful initiatives.
Rosette Lubwama Kebba, Chairperson of the Gayaza High School Board, shared her excitement:
“Warren House becomes a reality in record time!”
This new dormitory not only honors Miss Warren’s memory but also provides a space for future generations of Gayaza students to learn, grow, and thrive.
Congratulations to everyone who made this possible!
