Margaret Mutumba is the Founder & CEO of MedAtlas, a telemedicine platform simplifying access to specialist healthcare in Africa.
Margaret is a passionate Public Health Scholar with over 10 years of experience in maternal and reproductive health, with a particular focus on infertility. Her work has focused on creating awareness and advocating for accessible and affordable of fertility care in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Margaret attended Gayaza High School from 2001 to 2005 and was a proud resident of Cox House. Margaret then successfully completed her post-secondary studies with a BSc Pharmacology from Kings College London and a Master of Public Health from Imperial College London.
Currently, Margaret completing her PhD in Public Health and Health Systems at the University of Waterloo, Canada. Through her doctoral studies, Margaret founded MedAtlas that has won awards by Concept by Velocity and the University of Waterloo. She hopes that by leveraging technological advances in health, MedAtlas will transform the way we seek and access healthcare in Africa.
