Lao Tzu once said, "When the best leader's work is done, the people say we did it ourselves." This is a perfect description of the GOGA committee (2018-2020) led by Mrs.Ssabaganzi Bukenya Rebecca.

The committee made its mark in Gayaza's history through their project of renovating the staffroom known as 'Tambula Gayaza'. Their term of office ended in 2020 and they passed on the mantle of leadership to a new set of exceptional people led by Mrs.Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa.

The event was held on the 11th, July 2020 at the Roots restaurant. It was a big event held simply and filled with joy and cordiality.

The outgoing committee included Mrs.Ssabaganzi Bukenya Rebecca as chairperson, Mrs. Muyobo Adengo Marion as vice-chairperson, Mrs. Kakiiza Nakabugo Stella as secretary, Ms. Nazziwa Robinah as deputy secretary, Mrs. Ntege Elizabeth as treasurer, Mrs. Zigiti Zeridah as deputy treasurer, Mrs. Nsibirwa Susan as publicity secretary, Mrs. Lukowe Maggie as deputy publicity secretary, Mrs. Kiconco Bitarabeho Patricia as member without portfolio, Mrs. Kisarale Victoria as Gayaza High School representative and Mrs.Gwokyalya Nyanzi Lillian as Gayaza Junior School representative.
